Two teachers' groups have established an online fundraising campaign for the two Iberia Parish teachers who were injured in last night's shooting at The Grand 16.

The account has been set up for Jena Meaux and Ali Martin, both of whom were praised by Gov. Bobby Jindal for their heroic acts during the shooting that left three dead and nine injured.

Jindal said one of the teachers jumped in front of the other, saving her life. The second teacher was able to pull a fire alarm, he said.

One of the victims and the gunman died at the scene.  A second victim died at an area hospital.
