Volunteers needed for Bayou Teche cleanup Saturday in New Iberia

BAYOU TECHE BAYOU TECHE

A Bayou Teche cleanup event will be held Saturday, April 18, from noon to 2 p.m. in New Iberia City Park.

Canoes will be on hand for volunteers to get out on the water. People with boats are asked to bring them to help with the clean-up.

The cleanup is being hosted by Teche Project, Project Front Yard - Iberia Parish and Iberia ON TAP.

The first 50 volunteers will receive a free t-shirt. All volunteers will also get free food and drinks and live music will follow the clean-up. The Pine Leaf Boys Trio will perform from 2 - 6 p.m.
