    HOUSTON (AP) - Charlie Morton and Lance McCullers combined on a three-hitter, Jose Altuve and Evan Gattis homered and the Houston Astros reached the World Series for only the second time, blanking the New York Yankees 4-0 Saturday night in Game 7 of the AL Championship Series.    Just four years removed from their third straight 100-loss season in 2013, the Astros shut down the Yankees on consecutive nights after dropping three in a row in the Bronx.    Next up for...

    OXFORD, Miss. (AP) - Derrius Guice ran for a season-high 276 yards and a touchdown to lead No. 24 LSU over Mississippi 40-24 on Saturday night.    LSU (6-2, 3-1 Southeastern Conference) has won three straight games, all in conference play. Danny Etling threw for 200 yards and two touchdowns and coach Ed Orgeron won in his return as a head coach to Oxford.
