Agree or disagree? Should city councils pass ordinances to limit the age of mobile homes in the city? The latest city to pass an ordinance is Abbeville. Mobile homes 15 years and older will no longer be allowed to move into the city. The reason is to beautify the city and force people already living in mobile homes to upkeep them.

A state senator is proposing a bill that would allow voters to decide if they want traffic cameras in their city before cameras are installed. In cities where traffic cameras already exist, Senator Danny Martiny's bill would stop local governments from collecting fines until the issue is put on a public ballot. If the bill gets lawmakers' approval and Governor Jindal's signature, it would become law by January 1, 2013.
