    An exhibit on Cajun and Creole Mardi Gras traditions will be on display through April 19 at the Jean Lafitte National Historical Parks and Preserve's Prairie Acadian Cultural Center in downtown Eunice.

    The Advocate reports the free exhibit is based on research of anthropologists Rocky Sexton and Larry Miller and focuses on local Mardi Gras customs as well as traditions in Missouri and Canada.

    Toups to Play Le Festival de Mardi Gras Today

    Wayne Toups will perform today at 5:00 P. M. That's according to the organizers of Le Festival de Mardi Gras à Lafayette. Toups, who won a Grammy Award Sunday night for his participation in the Band Courtbouillon's self-titled debut album, was originally scheduled to perform last night, but stormy weather postponed his concert. All other performers slated to play at the festival this evening, but their schedules will be adjusted.

    Rain Puts A Damper On Queen's Parade
