Youth minister pleads not guilty in sex case

ALEXANDRIA, La. (AP) - A former church youth minister has pleaded not guilty to 13 sex-crime charges.
The Town Talk reports 28-year-old Angelo Golatt is scheduled to stand trial Oct. 31 in 9th Judicial District Court in Alexandria.
Golatt was arraigned Friday on two counts of aggravated rape, one count of attempted aggravated rape, eight counts of sexual battery, one count of molestation of a juvenile and one count of indecent behavior with a juvenile.
He is being held in the Rapides Parish Jail system on bonds of almost $1 million.
Golatt worked at the now-closed Donahue Family Church in Pineville and at other churches.
