Youngsville Middle School Bus Crashes into Truck

More than 40 Youngsville Middle School students are shaken up after their school bus t-bones a pickup truck. It happened just after 3:30 p.m. at School Street and LA92 in Youngsville. The bus driver had just left Youngsville Middle School with a full load of students.
LPSS officials tell KATC that the driver stopped at a stop sign, but went forward as a truck was passing on Iberia Street. The impact sent some students into the seats in front of them.
Eight kids had to be checked-out by paramedics. The bus has minor damage, a back up bus was sent to take the students home.
