Young Professionals of LAGCOE announce their first networking social to be held Thursday, March 7, 2013 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Open to young oil and gas industry professionals, the event features Mr. Lawrence Svendson who will speak briefly on the importance of LAGCOE to the industry and Acadiana. As LAGCOE Immediate Past Chairman and Marlin Energy Operations Manager, Mr. Svendson has in depth experience with the organization and the industry to share with future leaders. Sponsor of the event is Bisso Marine.
Angela Cring, LAGCOE Executive Director, comments, "The Young Professionals of LAGCOE Committee has brought new life to our organization. Formed only two months ago, membership is already in the hundreds and that indicates this generation's willingness to make a difference. The inaugural luncheon was a sell out and we encourage early registration as we anticipate this event will also reach its maximum limit".
Oil industry young professionals can register to attend the social at www.lagcoe.com/youngprofessionals.
Young Professionals of LAGCOE is established to engage the younger generation in activities which promote our industry's ongoing growth. As LAGCOE 2013 approaches, young oil and gas industry professionals are invited to become involved in volunteer positions which contribute significantly to LAGCOE's ongoing success.
