The Young Professionals of LAGCOE hosted its DRILLS Luncheon Thursday at City Club, reaching out to what it hopes will be the future leadership of the oil and gas industry.
Organizers explained that YPL DRILLS is an event designed to engage current and future leaders of the oil and gas industry in conversation about ensuring a pipeline of prepared, qualified oil and gas senior and executive leaders. The YPL DRILLS event is said to be an extension of LAGCOE DRILLS and the aims to engage120 YPL members with selected experienced industry leaders in small group conversation about leadership in the oil and gas industry.
During the limited-seating event, both current oil and gas industry leaders and their proteges discussed what it takes to become an oil and gas industry leader. Industry leaders also mentored aspiring leaders on the potential opportunities to gain experience in oilfield-related positions. LAGCOE leaders also shared information about the support systems available for those hoping one day to excel within leadership roles in the petroleum field.
