The "forbidden 5" is now down to 3! Remember, the forbidden five foods were those that people have a tendency to be sensitive to. As we add these foods back in, our coach Dawn Foreman says watch for an overall bloating, fatigue between meals and an increased craving for sugar. These are signs that you may have a sensitivity to one of these foods.
The last food we will add back in is wheat. Dawn says wheat allergy is one of the most common and often goes undetected. She says allergies also don't just manifest in breakouts. They can also manifest in things like stuffy nose or watery eyes that we often attribute to environmental factors. You can see your doctor if you think you have a food allergy, but Dawn says the treatment for a minor food allergy is simply to avoid eating that particular food.
