Work on housing for children of imprisoned women continues

The Adullam Household of Faith is building a facility on the Bethel Pentecostal church campus in Patterson that will house the children of women that are in prison.

The church should have the infrastructure, offices and storage buildings, completed by Christmas. The 8,000-square-foot dormitory being built will accommodate up to 30 children.

The costs are kept low because the Church members do the labor themselves.

The dormitory should be finished by summer of 2013. A presentation will be made by the church to the Louisiana Correctional Institute for Women in the spring, and possibly take in children by the summer.
