Woman's body found in lake identified

ALEXANDRIA, La. (AP) The woman whose body was found floating in Kincaid Lake on Tuesday has been identified as 22-year-old Amanda L. Stroud of Montgomery, who had previously been reported missing.
The identity was released Thursday by Rapides Parish Sheriff Chuck Wagner and Rapides Parish Coroner Francis Brian Jr.
Stroud was reported missing on Jan. 20 and was last seen in the Pineville area Jan. 9.
Wagner tells The Alexandria Daily Town Talk that a complete autopsy was performed, but the cause of death has still not been determined.
