Woman Survives after Being Ejected from Car

A woman is alive after being ejected from her car during a crash. The accident took place around 8:00 this morning on LA 93 near Cankton. State police say the driver, who has not been identified, drove off the road and hit a culvert. Her vehicle overturned, throwing her from the car. The driver was transported to a local hospital with critical injuries, but her condition has since been upgraded to moderate. The crash is still under investigation.
