HAUGHTON, La. (AP) Bossier Parish sheriff's deputies say a Haughton woman missing for eight days was last seen barefoot and in a blue housecoat at a bar across from the mobile home park where she lived.
Sheriff's spokeswoman Erin Habich says a confused-looking woman opened the door to Reflections last Thursday afternoon, stood in the doorway, then walked out.
That would have been the day after 39-year-old Nancy Miller was reported missing.
Habich says the report was made Friday and Monday, a dog tracked Miller from her home to the bar, then crossed the highway and sat down.
Investigators believe Miller may have gotten into a car. They have asked police in the area and neighboring states to watch out for her.
She's described as 5-6, about 240 pounds, with dark reddish-brown, auburn hair.
