Woman Killed in Winn Parish Car Crash

WINNFIELD, La. (AP) - State police say a three-vehicle wreck in Winn Parish killed a DeSoto Parish woman and seriously injured a Winnfield woman.
Troopers say 42-year-old Karen H. Speights of Stonewall was killed Thursday, while 25-year-old Heather L. Johns of Winnfield was injured in the U.S. Highway 84 crash.
Investigators say Johns' vehicle crossed the centerline and collided with Speights' vehicle. A third vehicle, driven by 53-year-old Percy D. Hogan Jr. of Calhoun, collided with both vehicles after the initial crash. Hogan was uninjured.
