Woman booked in stabbing death of her brother

BAKER, La. (AP) - East Baton Rouge Parish sheriff's deputies arrested a Baker woman in the stabbing death of her brother.
Sheriff's office spokeswoman Casey Rayborn Hicks tells The Advocate (http://bit.ly/V4hE1B ) deputies were called at 12:18 a.m. Christmas Day to an apartment where they discovered 22-year-old Dominque Lathers had been stabbed in the neck.
Hicks says Lathers was taken to a local hospital and later pronounced dead.
She says 18-year-old Tomeka Lathers was booked with manslaughter.
It was unclear whether Tomeka Lathers has an attorney.
