Woman Arrested after Allegedly Sending Threatening Texts to Herself

A Crowley woman who claimed to receive threatening texts from her estranged boyfriend is in jail after police say she sent the messages to herself. Police say 34-year-old Trudy Miller filed five complaints against her boyfriend over the messages. Detectives found Miller in possession of the phone used to send the messages. Officials say Miller's motive was an upcoming custody battle.
