Woman and Boy Drown in Swimming Pool

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Baton Rouge police say a 45-year-old
woman and a 2-year-old boy drowned in a swimming pool.
Capt. Carl Kelley said officers and firefighters responded to a
call for help at 7:28 p.m. Tuesday.
When the officers arrived, Kelley tells The Advocate that the
woman and boy were found in a swimming pool and both were
unresponsive.
He said the woman and boy were then taken to a local hospital,
where they were pronounced dead.
Police have not released the names of the victims.
