Woman Accused of Robbing Store with Vodka Bottle

THIBODAUX, La. (AP) - A 27-year-old woman has been accused of
robbing a Thibodaux convenience store with an empty vodka bottle.
Police told The Courier that a woman went up to a store clerk
Friday and held the bottle under her shirt - as if it were a
handgun. Investigators said the clerk hand over $444.
A suspect was arrested about 30 minutes later. Police said she
told investigators that she never had a gun.
April Preston, of Thibodaux, was booked with simple robbery and
jailed to await a bond hearing.
It couldn't be determine if she has an attorney.
