A Winnsboro police officer is charged with malfeasance in office for illegally hunting a deer while on duty. State wildlife agents say Chester Coleman used a .308 rifle to shoot a deer Monday night from his patrol vehicle. Coleman faces several other charges, including hunting from a moving vehicle, taking a deer during illegal hours using artificial light, and malfeasance in office. Two other law enforcement officials, Winnsboro Officer Joshua Martin and Franklin Parish Corrections Officer Hunter Guimbellot, were also cited in connection with the incident.
