Now that the dust has settled from what was a classic Super Bowl game it is time to talk about what the forecast looks like this week. Unfortunately all good things must come to an end and the string of great weather we have had ends this week.

Clouds start to increase overnight Sunday and building through the day on Monday. Scattered showers will hold off until the afternoon and could impact the evening commute particularly in the southern parishes.

A cold front will stall in the area and may result in shower activity for the next several days. Tuesday early morning will be the heaviest shower activity that we see, and then a brief break in the action on Wednesday.

Temperatuers remain very mild and will be hanging in the low 70s for the next several days. A few rumbles of thunder can be expected but it looks as if this will be mainly a rain event, and the models have been less agressive with the rain over the passed several runs. That being said still expect some of the wet stuff to start the work week.
