Westlake man bonds out on porn charge then arrested again on incest charge

A Westlake man who was charged with pornography involving juveniles in October is charged again with a sex related crime. Michael J. Sonnier, II, 31, of 2500 Davis Road is accused of having inappropriate sexual contact with a 5-year-old female family member on numerous occasions this year.
In October, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office Vice Division investigators said they found about 40 child pornography images and videos on Sonnier's home computer. He was released on November 8 on a $500,000 bond set by Judge Clayton Davis. Bond for his latest charge is $250,000.
