Funds are available to Acadia and Vermilion Parish residents who have lost income due to the BP Spill. Whether or not you have received a settlement yet or other money related to the spill, this money could be available to you now! Funds are available for rent, mortgage, and utility payments. These funds are part of the Fund for Gulf Communities made available by the Community Foundation of Acadiana and the Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors.
