It's an Easter Egg-stravaganza across Acadiana this Saturday. In Rayne, the "Hippity-Hop Hunt" kicks off at 11am at the Bernard-Bertrand house grounds. In Opelousas, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity hosts and Easter egg hunt at City Park from 10am-4pm. The St. Martin Humane Society also hosts an Easter egg hunt to benefit the organization in Breaux Bridge from 11am-2pm. And, Girl Scout troops 2746 and 2625 will host their Easter egg hunt at 10am at Veterans Park.
If you'd like to head to Girard Park Saturday, they'll be a slew of French Immersion students and teachers from across the state celebrating the program. There will be food, games and bands for this event from 10am-1pm.
On Sunday, Eunice gets cooking with the 25th annual World Championship Crawfish Etoufee Cook-Off. One hundred teams will compete at the Northwest Community Center beginning at 10am.
And don't forget, voters will be heading to the polls this Saturday in all Acadiana Parishes, except for Evangeline and Acadia.
