Scattered storms are along the coast this morning as moisture continues to flow in on southerly winds. With daytime heating, scattered storms will move inland later this morning and will lift north of the I-10 areas by midday.
A weak low pressure area will move westward along the coast today helping to keep the rain chances in the 50% range. Moisture still in place tomorrow will keep the rain chances in that same range Saturday. Late Saturday, into Sunday a cool front will drift in from the north, adding to the instability. Rain chances could pick up overnight into Sunday morning with additional rains. Sunday appears to have the highest rain chances over the weekend.
The front will stall out along the coast keeping scattered rain in the forecast for Monday, but will finally wash out into Tuesday. Back to summer time weather for the middle part of next week. There's a hint that a cool front will work into the area next weekend. Maybe some lower humidity. Stay tuned.
