Weekend Crash Claims One Life

One person has died as the result of injuries received in a crash on November 3, 2012, at 2:45 am in Lafayette.
The driver of a white Ford F-350 was traveling east on Interstate 10, when for unknown reasons was struck in the rear by the driver of a black 2009 Chevrolet Colorado, according to police
Both drivers were transported to area hospitals in critical condition. The driver of the Chevrolet Colorado, Kelly Theriot ,25, of St Martinville, died as a result of his injuries received in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
