MINDEN, La. (AP) - The Webster Parish School Board will choose among the school system's interim superintendent, its secondary schools supervisor and the Union Parish schools superintendent when it names the Webster system's next superintendent.
The Times reports that Steve Dozier - superintendent of the Union Parish School District - got 12 votes at Monday's meeting, while the two current employees got seven each. They are secondary supervisor Morris Busby and assistant superintendent Jackie Sparks, who has been interim superintendent since Wayne "Butch" Williams retired.
