Unsettled is the best, and really only word, that can be used to describe the forecast over the next couple of days. Clouds and rain have been moving through for the last couple of days, and that wet mess will be hovering around for the next couple of days. As a front remains stalled out along the Gulf Coast.
Rain chances diminish slowly Friday night into Friday, but the sun will still struggle a bit to reveal itself. High clouds are on tap for Saturday with slim chances for an isolated shower or two. These clouds will move out late Saturday, and Sunday morning will be rather pleasant.
You can't keep the clouds away too long, however, as they start to build back in the forecast through the day eventually resulting in rainfall Sunday evening and overnight. This sloppy pattern sticks around for the beginning of the week with rain chances lasting into Monday.
Daytime highs will hover close to normal with temperatures reaching up into the 60s in the afternoon. This unsettled pattern appears as if it will be with us for the long term heading into March, so we could be wrapping up an already wet February with more rainfall.
