There's not much more to say about this weekend's forecast that hasn't been said already, as high pressure remains in control.
That control, however, is starting to waver and we will be reintroducing some showers in the forecast for the first half of the work week.
A disturbance will pass to our north on Tuesday which will break down the ridge and give us much better rain chances next week.
The heaviest showers and storms will pass to our north but be prepared for widely scattered showers and thunderstorms for Tuesday and Wednesday.
Until then though there is very little change in the weather, so be ready for the heat and humidity which is getting ready for it's extended summer stay.
One or two showers might pop up Sunday afternoon but those will remain very isolated.
