Warm Hearts, Warm Coats Delivered to Faith House

Courtesy Automotive group recently donated a truck-full of warm winter wear to Faith House of Acadiana. Donations included everything from winter coats, jackets, scarves, hats and gloves. The donations were graciously accepted by Faith House for use in their shelter and programs.

"The women and children were thrilled to receive these generous donations from those in our community. We are so thankful and appreciate all of the support," said April Lafargue, Operations Manager for Faith House of Acadina.

Donations were accepted at each Courtesy dealership in Lafayette, Abbeville, Breaux Bridge, New Iberia, Franklin, Morgan City and St. Martinville.

Faith House is a private, non-profit program for survivors of domestic violence and their children. The program has five components: a shelter, a non-residential program, an outreach program, a 24-hour crisis line and a public education program. Their 45-bed facility accepts female victims of domestic violence and their minor children.
