Warm days and mild nights should continue through the weekend as a ridge builds over the plains into the Mississippi Valley tomorrow and Saturday. This will help aid in a warming trend and will also help keep the area rain free. Temperature running several degree above normal readings. Highs in the mid to upper 80s, lows in the mid to upper 60s...warmer along the coastline, slightly cooler north of I-10. Models indicating a cold front passage Sunday night/Monday morning which could allow slight rain chances.
Another stronger cold front showing up on our data models passing the middle part of next week that could allow rain chances Wednesday. However it could help cool temps over Acadiana.
