Very little will be changing in the forecast over the next several days, as a strong inversion traps in moisture and clouds.
The clouds moved in on Sunday and will likely be staying in Acadiana for at least the first half of the work week.
Even with a lack of sunshine winds from the west will bring in warm air so although it will look dreary outside it should be fairly comfortable.
Highs will look to consistently get up into the low 70s for the first half of the week and will be warming over the next couple of days.
The biggest issue will be the possibility of dense fog for the next couple of nights.
Fog will be advecting in from the Gulf of Mexico so areas between I-10 and the coast will have to keep poor visibilities in mind for the next couple of commutes.
