Wanted St. Martin Parish Burglar Caught in Lafayette

A man wanted in connection with several St. Martin Parish burglaries is caught in Lafayette.

At approximately 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Damien Terrell Jackson, 20, was apprehended with the assistance of the U.S. Marshal's Office, Lafayette Marshal's Office and the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office.

He was booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center. He's being held on charges of Aggravated Flight From An Officer, Simple Burglary of an Inhabited Dwelling, and 6 Counts of Illegal Possession of Stolen Things.

Jackson's girlfriend Monikitia Price charged with accessory after the fact for harboring a fugitive.
