WANTED Ferdinand Nickels

Vermilion sheriff's deputies are looking for Ferdinand Nickles. He is accused of shooting and burning 20 year old Ernest Guidry in September. Since then he's been on the run. Nickels is now wanted state wide. He is described as being 5'7, 140lbs. Nickels is from Abbeville and is wanted on a charge of first degree murder.

He is accused of shooting and killing Ernest Guidry, during the early morning hours of September 28th. Officials say he then allegedly burned Guidry's body in his truck and left it on the side of a rural road in Vermillion parish. Nickels has an extensive criminal history which includes drugs, carjacking and armed robbery.
