THIBODAUX, La. (AP) - The Thibodaux Main Street Farmers Market is seeking farmers, bakers and crafters looking to sell their homemade products.
The market is open from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. every Saturday next to the Wetlands Acadian Cultural Center, 314 St. Mary St.
The Courier reports market coordinator Joyce Benoit says the market provides an opportunity for vendors to make extra money, meet new customers and develop a following.
Benoit says she's always looking for new vendors and products to display. It costs $25 to register for the market and $10 per week to participate.
To join, call Benoit at 985-448-1474 or fill out a registration form at www.downtownthibodaux.org .
