Wade Lohse is being held in the Curran Fromhold Correctional Facility in Philadelphia, PA, and will stay there until he's extradited unless he fights it. He's guaranteed an extradition hearing within 72 hours of being booked into jail. Lohse was on the run for 22 until the U.S. Marhsals Service arrested him Tuesday in downtown Philadelphia near a train station.
Although Lohse's bail is set at $20,000, he will not be allowed to bond out of jail, because he's being held to face charges in Lafayette Parish. In Lafayette Parish, he's charged with vehicular homicide in Cacie Barras McGrew's death.
Lohse left court on March 25 before his vehicular homicide trial was set to begin. Also, he was in court to face two other charges - possession of a weapon by a felon, and simple burglary. He had been on the run until authorities caught up with him more than 1,000 miles ways in Philadelphia.
