W. Feliciana prison officer arrested

ST. FRANCISVILLE, La. (AP) - West Feliciana Parish Sheriff J. Austin Daniel says one of his correctional officers has been arrested after being accused of bringing contraband into the parish's detention center.
Daniel tells The Advocate 26-year-old Glenn Ford Jr. of St. Francisville was booked at the detention center Wednesday on one count of malfeasance after an investigation by Warden Randy Holden.
Daniel says Ford is accused of bringing a cell phone into the prison for an inmate. Ford, who had been employed with the sheriff's office for a year, was released on $50,000 bail.
It was unclear whether Abraham has an attorney.
