There will be a candle light vigil for Amy Breaux who died from injuries sustained in a hit-and-run accident that occurred on August 25, 2012. Residents are encouraged to attend and wear light-colored clothing. Meet at Gueydan City Hall February 22, 2013 at 5:30 pm. Transportation will be provided to the location where the hit-and-run took place. The vigil is set to start at 6:00 pm. The day is significant because Amy would have been 41-years-old.

Officials say they are searching for a small white car, but they have no other details about the crash.
