LAFAYETTE, La. (AP) - A Lafayette woman's workday turned bad even before she got to her job.
Police said Wednesday that the woman had just left her residence to head for work when a man with a gun confronted her.
The woman, whose identity was not released, says a man with a handgun walked up to her and demanded money. The woman handed her wallet over and the robber fled the area on foot. The victim was not injured.
Police had made no arrests.
