SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) - The man injured when a tornado knocked a huge church steeple off a Shreveport church and onto his car Oct.
29 has been released from the hospital.
Michael Williams was released from the hospital last weekend, but his injuries require that he receive 24-hour care, not walk for about three months and wear a body brace, according to The Times of Shreveport.
On Thursday, Williams sent his thanks to doctors and nurses at LSU Hospital in Shreveport with a professionally designed card, presented by his wife, son and sister-in-law.
