Victim in "critical condition" after clothing store shooting

At least one person is in critical condition after police say a woman opened fire at a Lake Charles shopping center. Minutes after the shooting, Sharonda Obey turned herself in to authorities.

One of the victims in this shooting is 24-year-old Tracey Rankins. One look at her facebook wall and this altercation becomes clearer- tensions between the suspected shooter and Rankins were building for some time.

Posted on Wednesday, Rankins wrote on her facebook wall:

"Sharonda u say u on yo way to beat my... All day every day now who gone POP me ......"

Rankins' neighbor and family-friend says whatever has happened went too far.

"You can't just go by whatever somebody said on facebook and react to it." Rashita Pittman says, "I know she didn't deserve that."

Police statements and witnesses will back it up- those events played-out at "Ross Dress for Less" in Priem Plaza where Rankins works in Lake Charles
One witness says it started as an argument, then gunfire.

"It kinda sounded like balloons popping," she said.

Sharonda Obey later turned herself in to police.
Rankins and another co-worker who is not being identified at this time are in the hospital listed in stable and critical conditions.
As for what actually led to this shooting, police say their investigation is on-going.
