Vermilion Parish School Bus Crash

A school bus and Ford Explorer collide in Vermilion Parish. It happened on Etienne Street just outside of Maurice after school today.
There were five students from Cecil Picard Elementary on board at time. They are said to be unhurt.
The Vermilion Parish Sheriff's Office and Maurice Fire Department responded. It happened at 3:57 pm at the intersection of W. Etienne and Pressley Rd. in Maurice.
The bus was struck by a 17 year old female driver. She was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries and cited for a stop sign violation.
