Vermilion Narcotics Arrest

The Vermilion / Municipal Narcotics Task Force recently made the following arrests for narcotics related crimes:
- Agents received several complaints that suspected drug activity may have been taking place in the 5000 block of Paul Ed Dr in Abbeville. Upon opening an investigation, agents were able to identify those parties involved in the suspected activity. Upon further investigations, agents were able to gain access to the residence, at which time they located suspected marijuana. Elias J. Bilski Jr (dob 1-9-54) was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana.
- Christopher Vincent (dob 9-4-60) of Kaplan La was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a schedule I narcotic, which stemmed from an earlier investigation.
- Agents received information that two suspects were to deliver several prescription pills in the Kaplan area. Agents were able to identify the parties involved and conduct a traffic stop on them. Phillip Meaux Jr (dob 12-14-86) of Gueydan was arrested and charged with possession with the intent to distribute a schedule III narcotic (Lortab), possession with the intent to distribute a schedule IV narcotic (Xanex), and possession of marijuana. Darven Williams (dob 4-8-69) of Kaplan was arrested and charged with possession with the intent to distribute schedule III (Lortab) and schedule IV (Xanex).
