UPDATE: Two injured in New Iberia Club Shooting

A shooting last night at a New Iberia nightclub has left two people injured. The incident took place around 10:40 last night in the 500 block of South Hopkins Street. Sheriff's deputies say four black men all dressed in black went inside the club, held up patrons at gunpoint, and demanded money. One person inside the club was shot in the leg, and another was shot in the hand. If you have any information about this case, call the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office at 369-3714.

One man whose car was at the scene was arrested on drug charges. Police say they found what they believe to be marijuana and crack cocaine in Bryson JohnLewis's car. He is charged with possession with intent to distribute and possession of illegal narcotics in a school zone.
