Early Saturday morning, the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Narcotics Division, along with State Police and DEA, conducted an investigation in the Breaux Bridge area about a complaint of possible drug trafficking. As a result of the investigation, Reggie Smith, aka "Big UNK", was found with 150 pounds of Marijuana.
A Search Warrant was executed on the residence of Reggie Smith where Agents located illegal narcotics, $500,000.00 worth of jewelry, and over $72,000.00 dollars in U.S. Currency.
Also arrested were Keith Jean Lewis, from Breaux Bridge, and Cameka Stroggins, also from Breaux Bridge. The street value for the narcotics seized was over $250,000.00 dollars.
Smith, Lewis, and Stroggins were all booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on the following charge:
Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana.
