Update to Deadly Friday Night Crash

Louisiana State Troopers are continuing their investigation into a bad crash in Vermilion Parish that left a man dead.

According to investigators, 76 year old Minos Baudoin was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash. Upon arrival, emergency personnel removed the seatbelt before State Police arrived.

The crash happened Friday night just after 8 at the intersection of LA 3267 and John Hardy Drive. According to troopers, Minos Baudoin of Abbeville ran the stop sign at the intersection and was broadsided by an oncoming vehicle.

Baudoin was pronounced dead at the scene and the driver of the other vehicle had moderate injuries.

The Louisiana State Police is still investigating this accident.
