UPDATE: Schools on Lockdown, Search for Alleged Killer Turns Up Nothing

Iberia Parish placed four schools on lockdown around 10:00 a.m. as a precaution due to the search for escaped inmate Paul Collins Jr.
Tips led authorities to an apartment complex off Rogers Street. Due to their proximity to the search, Johnston Elementary, Hopkins Elementary, Park Elementary and Anderson Middle are locked down until further notice.
Iberia Parish Sheriff's Deputies cleared the apartment complex today and the suspect was not found at that location.
