Keith Thibodeaux, the assistant superintendent of St. Mary Parish schools, says classes in all St. Mary Parish public schools have been canceled for Thursday. Thibodeaux says all central office staff, special programs staff, and 12-month employees should report to work.
Holy Cross Elementary School and Central Catholic High School, both in Morgan City, will be closed Thursday.
St. John Elementary School and Hanson Memorial High School in Franklin have canceled classes for Thursday.
Glencoe Charter School has cancelled classes for Thursday.
