Update: Police looking for man carrying gun on N.P. Moss Annex campus

Update N.P. Moss Annex lockdown: Lafayette police are looking for a man carrying a pistol who got into a late model blue Chevy pickup truck after he was spotted on the N.P. Moss Annex campus. Around 9:10 this morning, the man was walking building to building looking for a student, Cpl. Paul Mouton said. He ran when a staff member saw him. He's a black man wearing khaki pants and white hoodie. If anyone recognizes him or the vehicle, you're asked to call the Lafayette Police Dept. at 337-291-8600.

The campus is no longer on lockdown and the school's resource officer and two safety officers are on campus.
