Update: Plane crash in Kaplan

The pilot in this morning's plane crash was not injured. He had to make an emergency landing after experiencing engine troubles while fertilizing a field, said Major Darryl Leblanc. The pilot landed in a crawfish pond that is currently being drained at the intersection of LA 700 and Mourning Dove. There is no significant structural damage to plane, said LeBlanc. The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating.
